SUMMER MUSIC WORKSHOPS
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HAF FUN POMPEY
Portsmouth Music Academy is offering fun Summer holiday music workshops for children aged 5-11 years, in partnership with HAF FUN Pompey. There will be two different types of workshop on offer this year, the band workshop and a new pop choir workshop.
In the band workshop you will get the opportunity to learn how to play a song on an instrument with our experienced tutors and then have fun playing it together as a band with other students.
In the pop choir workshop, you will be singing in group, creating harmonies and singing along to great pop songs that have been adapted for group singing.
Each session includes a healthy meal including Jacket Potato (with topping), veggie sticks and fruit.
Sessions are completely free for children in receipt of Free School Meals. Non-funded spaces are also available, please go to sign up for pricing.
Spaces are available on the following days:
- July 26th – Pop Choir Workshop, 10:30 – 13:00
- July 28th – Pop Choir Workshop, 10:30 – 13:00
- July 29th – Band Workshop, 10:30 – 13:30
- August 2nd – Band Workshop, 10:30 – 13:30
Here’s everything you need to know:
- Sessions will comprise of fun music-based activities, in both the vocal workshop and band workshops
- Sessions available for 5-11
- Vocal workshop runs from 10:30 – 13:00 and the band workshop runs from 10:30 – 13:30 includes a healthy lunch
- Sessions take place at PMA Southsea
- Completely free for children in receipt of Free School Meals
- Non-FSM places are available for £43.95 (band workshop) and £36.45 (pop choir) food also included
- Registration and payment (if not funded) is required in advance to secure your child’s place. Spaces are limited
